Tortured Soul (Globetrotting live house Trio) Tortured Soul is 100% LIVE modern, deep, soulful, house music freed from the DJ Booth. Influenced by the classic songcraft of Prince, Heatwave and Kool & The Gang, the members of Tortured Soul are three distinctive guys with three different backgrounds, united under a groove-centered rhythm. The band’s frontman and songwriter, John-Christian Urich, can be seen simultaneously drumming and singing with effortless mastery, while bassist Jordan Scannella, and keyboardist Isamu McGregor virtuosically generate the pulsating rhythm and melodic joy. Hosts DJ Jason Palama and & General Eclectic’ monthly party inside the backroom of the Rivoli hits every last Saturday of each month and provides an open minded, all inclusive space for Torontonias to lose themselves in a vast range of dancefloor music. Having collected thousands of records over the years in 2000 He first stepped up to the decks and the formative years for the Make It Funky Collective began.

In 2005 Make It Funky was born. In the years to follow Farbsie has been spreading the funk gospel and grooving dancefloors across the country.
